Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of loft conversion and related building services by Loft Conversion Services. By engaging our services, requesting a quotation, or entering into a contract with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

About Us
Loft Conversion Services is a London-based loft conversion company established in 2019. Our registered address is 5 Grosvenor Road, Chiswick, London W4 4EJ. You can contact us by email at info@loftconversionservices.com.
Scope of Services
We provide residential loft conversion services including, but not limited to, dormer, hip-to-gable, mansard and Velux loft conversions, along with associated design, structural, and finishing works. All services are carried out in accordance with agreed specifications and applicable building regulations.
Quotations and Estimates
All quotations are provided following an initial consultation and are based on information available at the time. Quotations are valid for a limited period as stated and may be subject to revision if project requirements change, unforeseen structural issues arise, or material costs increase.

Contracts and Acceptance
A binding agreement is formed once a written quotation is accepted and confirmed by both parties. Any amendments to the agreed scope of work must be documented in writing and may result in adjustments to pricing and timelines.
Payments
Payment schedules will be clearly outlined in the contract or quotation. Stage payments may apply depending on project size and duration. Late payments may result in delays to work, and Loft Conversion Services reserves the right to suspend services until outstanding balances are settled.
Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for providing accurate property information, ensuring access to the site, and obtaining any necessary permissions not expressly included in our service. Delays caused by restricted access or incomplete information may affect project timelines.

Planning Permission and Building Regulations
Where agreed, we will assist with planning permission and building control processes. Approval decisions remain the responsibility of local authorities, and we cannot guarantee outcomes beyond compliance with current regulations and best practices.
Project Timelines
Estimated start dates and completion times are provided in good faith. While we aim to meet agreed schedules, delays may occur due to weather conditions, supply issues, or unforeseen structural discoveries. We will communicate any significant changes promptly.
Variations and Additional Work
Any additional work or variations requested by the client must be agreed in writing before commencement. Additional costs and time implications will be clearly explained prior to proceeding.

Warranties and Guarantees
We provide workmanship guarantees as outlined in your contract. Manufacturer warranties apply to supplied materials and products. Guarantees do not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or alterations by third parties.
Health and Safety
We adhere to relevant health and safety legislation and maintain safe working practices on site. Clients are asked to keep children and unauthorised persons away from work areas during construction.
Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of the contracted works except where prohibited by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of use or enjoyment of the property during works.

Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement in accordance with the terms set out in the contract. Work completed up to the termination date must be paid for in full.
Complaints and Dispute Resolution
We aim to resolve any concerns promptly and professionally. Complaints should be raised in writing to allow investigation and resolution. Where disputes cannot be resolved amicably, they shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Updates to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will be published on our website and will apply to all new contracts.
